Imer Bauta, P.E.

Imer is the Chief Executive Officer & Founder of Empress Builders.

As a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) Imer offers the highest standard of technical expertise in the general contracting industry.

Since founding Empress Builders, Imer’s technical expertise in the design and construction of luxury and ultra-luxury custom homes has been highly sought after and has earned Empress Builders a reputation for delivering superior quality projects throughout coastal California.  Imer is known for his professionalism, relentless work ethic, and attention to detail throughout the construction process.  He aims to deliver exceptional quality and exceed client expectations in every project undertaken.

With a lifetime of passion and devotion to construction, Imer holds a bachelor’s and master’s in civil engineering from the prestigious Villanova University.  Before founding Empress Builders, Imer served in lead Project Management and Superintendent roles in the construction of over $500 Million in construction projects, including luxury high-rise residential buildings, high-end retail spaces, and custom homes.

In addition to leading the Empress Builders team, Imer is an elected committee member for the City of Laguna Beach Design Review Board and an active member of the Laguna Beach Rotary Club, Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce, and the Malibu Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce.  Imer, his wife Carly, and four children are residents of Laguna Beach.
