In response to the devastating Palisades and Eaton wildfires, Empress Builders has expanded its offices from Laguna Beach to Malibu.  These tragic events have left hundreds of structures destroyed, and we recognize the immense challenge of restoring this iconic region.

With direct experience in large-scale recovery efforts, we understand the urgency of disaster response.  Our very own CEO, Imer Bauta, previously led the New York City Mayor’s Office Rapid Repairs Program after the 2012 devastation of Superstorm Sandy, coordinating 450 professionals to assess and restore over 13,000 homes.  This experience uniquely positions Empress Builders to take swift, effective action.  Following the recent wildfires, we are prepared to mobilize quickly with a skilled, nimble team ready to tackle stabilization and recovery tasks immediately.

Imer Bauta, P.E.

Imer is the Chief Executive Officer & Founder of Empress Builders.

As a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) Imer offers the highest standard of technical expertise in the general contracting industry.

Since founding Empress Builders, Imer’s technical expertise in the design and construction of luxury and ultra-luxury custom homes has been highly sought after and has earned Empress Builders a reputation for delivering superior quality projects throughout coastal California.  Imer is known for his professionalism, relentless work ethic, and attention to detail throughout the construction process.  He aims to deliver exceptional quality and exceed client expectations in every project undertaken.

With a lifetime of passion and devotion to construction, Imer holds a bachelor’s and master’s in civil engineering from the prestigious Villanova University.  Before founding Empress Builders, Imer served in lead Project Management and Superintendent roles in the construction of over $500 Million in construction projects, including luxury high-rise residential buildings, high-end retail spaces, and custom homes.
